This Privacy Policy applies to the mobile application Pixie, published by Fabletronic Technologies Private Limited, and available on the Google Play Store and Apple App Store. It explains how we collect, use, and share information when you use the Pixie app and any related services (“Service”). By using the Service, you agree to the terms described below.

This data helps us provide services, send communications, personalize your experience, serve ads, and meet legal obligations.

Data Retention

We retain your data only as long as needed to fulfill the purposes in this Privacy Policy, or as required by law.

Data Security

We use industry-standard safeguards to protect your data. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

Children's Privacy

The app is intended for users over 18. We may ask for a child's first name and age to personalize stories.

Third Party Services

We use OpenAI, Meta, Google, and ElevenLabs to enable story generation. We send only story inputs to these services. We do not send personally identifiable information (such as account details, email, or phone number) to these providers; story inputs may include minimal information like a child's first name or age used only for story personalization. We do not sell your personal data. California residents can request to access or delete their data by emailing us. We will verify your request before proceeding.

We use cookies to personalize your experience. You can disable cookies in your browser, though some app features may not work properly.

We may update this Privacy Policy. The latest version is always available in the app and on our website.

Terms of Use

1. Use of the Service

You must be 18+ to use Pixie. You are responsible for your account and password. Do not misuse the Service or violate laws while using it.

2. Content Ownership

When you submit inputs or receive generated outputs, that combined content is called “User Content.” You retain ownership, but grant us a license to use it for operating, improving, and promoting the Service.

3. Responsibility for Content

You are responsible for any content generated based on your inputs. Adults must review all stories before sharing them with children. If you find inappropriate content, please report it.

All design, trademarks, and platform elements are owned by Fabletronic Technologies Private Limited. Do not use or reproduce them without permission.

The Service is provided "as is." We make no guarantees and are not responsible for outages or errors.

9. Limitation of Liability

We are not liable for indirect damages. Total liability is limited to the amount you've paid for the Service, if any.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms. Continued use after changes means you accept the new Terms.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for any reason, without notice.

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Jurisdiction is in Bengaluru courts.

14. Subscriptions and Auto-Renewal

Pixie offers certain features, content, or services through auto-renewable subscriptions (“Subscriptions”). Subscriptions provide access for the subscription period shown at the time of purchase and automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the then-current billing period (or as otherwise indicated by the applicable app store at the time of purchase). Auto-renewable subscriptions renew automatically until the user cancels.

Your subscription will be charged to your Apple ID or Google Play account (as applicable) at confirmation of purchase (or at the end of any applicable free trial/introductory offer). Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period, at the rate displayed in the purchase flow unless otherwise stated.

Pixie may offer more than one subscription plan (for example monthly/annual plans, different tiers, or promotional offers). The available plans, pricing, and billing frequency are shown in the purchase flow and may vary by country/region.

15. Free Trials, Introductory Offers, and Promotions

Pixie may offer free trials or introductory/promotional pricing for certain Subscriptions. If a free trial or discounted offer is available, the duration and terms will be displayed at the time of sign-up.

Unless you cancel before the end of the free trial or promotional period, your subscription will automatically convert to a paid subscription and you will be charged the applicable recurring fee unless otherwise disclosed at the time of purchase.

Eligibility for free trials or introductory offers may be limited (for example, available only to first-time subscribers or otherwise as determined by the applicable app store).

16. Managing and Canceling Your Subscription

You can manage or cancel your Subscription at any time through your device's subscription management settings:

If you cancel, you will retain access to subscription benefits until the end of the current billing period (unless otherwise required by law or indicated by the app store). Cancellation stops future renewals; it does not retroactively refund prior charges except where required by law or as permitted by the applicable app store's refund policies.

Pixie may change Subscription prices, features, or available plans from time to time. The way price changes apply depends on the platform and may require notice and/or consent:

If you do not agree to a price change, you may cancel your Subscription before the new price takes effect.

If you change plans (upgrade/downgrade), billing and entitlement changes (including any proration or immediate charge behavior) may be handled by the applicable app store according to its rules and the options Pixie has enabled.

19. Refunds and Chargebacks

Except where required by law, all purchases are final and refunds are handled by the platform through which you purchased the Subscription:

If you initiate a chargeback or payment dispute, Pixie may suspend or terminate access to subscription features pending resolution.

20. Taxes, Currency, and Regional Variations

Subscription prices may include applicable taxes or may have taxes added, depending on your jurisdiction and the rules of the app store. Currency, pricing, and available plans may vary by region and are displayed at the time of purchase.

21. Third-Party Billing Platforms and Where These Terms Apply

If you purchase a Subscription through a third-party platform (for example, Apple App Store or Google Play), your purchase is also subject to that platform's terms and conditions and privacy policies. In the event of a conflict between the platform's billing rules and these Terms, the platform's billing rules control for purchases made on that platform.

22. Restoring Purchases

If you reinstall the app or switch devices, you can restore your Subscription purchase using the platform's “Restore Purchases” / subscription restore mechanism available in the app (where supported) or by signing into the same Apple ID / Google account used to purchase the Subscription.

23. Changes to Subscription Terms

We may update these Subscription terms from time to time. If changes materially affect your rights, we will provide notice within the app or through other reasonable means. Continued use of subscription features after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms, except where additional consent is required by law or by the app store.
